ISO: Global standards for trusted goods and services

# **ISO**: Global **standards **for trusted goods and services Standards define **what great looks like**, setting consistent benchmarks for businesses and consumers alike — ensuring **reliability**, **building trust**, and **simplifying choices**. For many students, joining school, college, or university comes with dreams of achieving good grades, making new friends, building a successful career, and becoming independent, but the reality is often very different from what they imagined. Every day can bring a new challenge, from waking up early for lectures and rushing to class before the lecturer arrives, to completing assignments, preparing for examinations, attending group discussions, and trying to understand topics that sometimes seem impossible. There are also financial challenges, especially for students who have to manage limited money for food, transport, accommodation, school requirements, and other personal needs. Sometimes a student may have only enough money for one meal, yet they still have to attend classes and concentrate on their studies. Despite these challenges, student life is also filled with laughter and memorable moments. Friends can turn an ordinary day into an unforgettable one, whether they are studying together, sharing meals, discussing their future, or simply making jokes after a long lecture. One of the biggest lessons students learn is time management because assignments, examinations, social activities, personal responsibilities, and sometimes part-time work all compete for the same limited hours. Procrastination can also become a student's biggest enemy; a task that seemed easy when it was given can suddenly become a serious problem when the deadline is only a few hours away. Examination periods can be particularly stressful, with students staying up late reading notes, searching for explanations, discussing possible questions, and promising themselves that they will start preparing earlier next time. However, student life is not only about academic pressure. It is also a period of discovering yourself, developing confidence, learning how to communicate with different people, making mistakes, solving problems, and discovering what you want to do with your future. Some students graduate with exactly the career they planned for, while others discover new interests and change direction along the way. What matters is that every experience contributes something to their growth. Student life may involve sleepless nights, difficult assignments, financial struggles, disappointing results, and moments of doubt, but it also creates friendships, knowledge, confidence, opportunities, and memories that can last a lifetime. In the end, being a student is not simply about passing examinations; it is about preparing yourself for life, learning from challenges, taking advantage of opportunities, and becoming the person you hope to be. The journey may not always be easy, but every lecture attended, every assignment completed, every examination survived, and every challenge overcome becomes part of the story that a student will one day look back on with pride.
